At BharatFlow, we value your trust and are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the third-party services we rely on. We believe in complete transparency to ensure a secure experience for all our users (farmers, traders, and citizens).

1. What Data Do We Collect?

• Personal Information: When you sign in with Google, we securely receive your basic profile details, including your Name, Email Address, and Profile Picture.
• Profile Details: Any optional details you voluntarily provide (e.g., Mobile Number, Birthdate, City, and Full Address) to enhance your personalized experience.
• Location Data: We request foreground and background GPS location access to fetch the most accurate nearby Mandi (Market) prices, local weather alerts, and nearby agricultural/warehouse facilities. Location data is processed safely and is not tracked unnecessarily.
• Financial/Ledger Data (Digital Khata): Income and expense entries you create in the Digital Khata feature are stored to help you track your farm finances. This data is private to your account and is not shared with any third party.
• Marketplace & Chat Data (Sasta Bazaar): If you create a listing to buy or sell items, the listing details (e.g., product name, description, price, photos) are visible to other users. Messages you send through the in-app chat feature with other users are stored to enable the conversation and for safety/moderation purposes (e.g., reviewing reports of abuse). No real-money payment or transaction is processed within the app; all financial dealings, if any, happen directly between users outside the app.
• App Preferences: Your favorite commodities, saved alerts, offline maps, and settings are stored locally on your device for fast offline access.

2. Third-Party Services & Analytics

To deliver our core services, we integrate reliable third-party SDKs that may collect data in accordance with their respective policies:

• Google Play Services & Firebase: Used for authentication, session synchronization, crash reporting, and delivering push notifications.
• Google Analytics: Used to understand app usage patterns (such as sessions and feature engagement) so we can improve the app experience. Analytics data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
• Google AdMob: Our app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK may collect device identifiers, advertising ID (GAID), IP address, and approximate location data to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements to support our free platform. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings.
• Supabase: An enterprise-grade cloud service used to securely store and sync your authorized profile data, Digital Khata entries, and marketplace listings/chat messages using industry-standard SSL encryption, so your data is available across your devices.

3. Where Does Our Data Come From?

BharatFlow acts as an intelligent market aggregator. Sourced data includes:

• DATA.GOV.IN: Official open-data portals of the Government of India for authentic mandi prices and government scheme details.
• OpenWeatherMap & Weather APIs: For live climate metrics and forecasts.
• Google Places & Maps API: To calculate logistics routes, distances, and store timings.

4. Community & Marketplace Safety

BharatFlow includes community and marketplace features (such as the Community forum and Sasta Bazaar marketplace) where users can post content and chat with each other. To keep these features safe:

• Users can report inappropriate listings, posts, or chat messages.
• Users can block other users to prevent further contact.
• Reported content is reviewed and may be removed if it violates our community guidelines.

5. Data Protection & Safety

• We DO NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third-party marketing agencies.
• We DO NOT spy on or access your personal contacts, photos, or files outside the application's cache.
• All communication between the app and backend services is fully encrypted via HTTPS/SSL.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have full control over your personal data. You can edit your profile details or log out of the app at any time to instantly wipe your local session cache. If you wish to request permanent deletion of your cloud-saved account data (including profile, Digital Khata entries, and marketplace/chat data), please contact us directly at the email address below.

7. Children's Privacy

BharatFlow is intended for general audiences, including farmers, traders, and citizens, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
